GRAPPLE GEAR

Grappling rash guards and apparel based in the natural world

BUILT FOR THE MATS. INSPIRED BY THE BUSH.

Most rash guards are either loud competition kits or pricey shirts that mainly exist to carry someone else’s logo. I wanted something different for my own training.

Grapple Gear is camo training kit made for rolling. It’s cut tight so it stays put when someone is hanging off your collar or hunting your back, and the prints come from the Tasmanian bush, not a marketing department.

Wear it for gi or no-gi, then keep it on for a swim, a bushwalk or a hot day outside. UPF 50+ means it does more than one job.

TRAIN HARD. ROLL OFTEN. LOOK LIKE YOU BELONG OUTSIDE.

TWO PRINTS

POND SCUM CAMO

A darker, muddier print taken from creek beds and still water. Hides sweat, hides stains and looks better the harder you train.

BUSH DIGICAM

A lighter digital print based on eucalyptus scrub and dry grass. Clean on the mats, at home on the trail.

WHAT YOU’RE GETTING

Four-way stretch. Moves with you through guard work, scrambles and inversions.

UPF 50+. Sun protection built in for training outdoors or at the beach.

Flat seams and coverstitch. No rubbing or chafing over a long session.

Leggings with a front gusset and elastic waistband. Wear them alone or under shorts for no-gi.

SHOP GRAPPLE GEAR

Long sleeves, short sleeves and leggings in both prints. Mix and match a set.

SIZING

Grapple Gear is cut for compression, so it sits close to the skin. Check the size chart on each product before you order. If you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit, go with the larger one.

CARE

Rinse after every session, especially after salt water or the pool. Cold wash inside out, hang to dry, and keep it away from velcro.

THE KIT IS THE EASY PART

If you want strength and conditioning that actually carries over to the mats, I coach grapplers, fighters and tactical athletes online.
